Ali is an award-winning business psychologist with a passion for using psychology, technology and psychometric test design to help organisations and individuals thrive. He designs innovative solutions that combine technology and scientific rigour to help deliver a measurable business impact. For the past ten years he has researched the area of resilience and has co-developed the PSI Resilience Questionnaire and has become the authority on the subject.
Ali has extensive experience in leading the design of technology-enabled high-volume recruitment solutions for a range of clients. He and his colleagues won the ABP Excellence in Assessment award twice. Firstly in 2017 with the Fire and Rescue Service, and again in 2018 with the Civil Service (UK Government).
Ali has designed a variety of solutions covering the entire end to end recruitment cycle, from attraction, sifting out, to selecting in. He is the working group lead/convenor of the British Psychological Society Youth Employability group, using his knowledge in assessment to help young people become more employable.
