Abdullah is Senior Director Human Capital for GDC Middle East - a Public Investment Fund initiative designed to build a leading aerospace and defense company to compete globally, through the investment in people and technology. Having joined in May 2020, Abdullah’s vision is to become the benchmark for HR practices in the Kingdom within two years.

Prior to this Abdullah was the Human Capital Director for a significant KSA Government Entity. During his 2.5-year tenure he established the HC Department and achieved a ranking in the ‘Great Place To Work’ in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in both 2019 & 2020. His initiatives included an organizational design and compensation & benefits review, an Executive Coaching program for the top management, and a new Performance Management system. All employees were assessed, personal development plans were created, and an average of 63hrs learning and development put in place in the past year. Prior to this he spent 4 years with TAQNIA Aeronautics as an HR Business Partner engaged with defining and fulfilling the talent needs for various projects including Airbus and Lockheed Martin partnerships.

Abdullah holds a BSc Business Administration majoring in Human Resources from Auburn University (USA), and he is CIPD Level 5 qualified.
